Our 3D model was used to produce a 1:200 scale physical model of masterplan proposals in Africa for our architect client. The model will be used to develop the design with the client and for the client to describe design and progress to their audiences.
This is an efficient way to produce multiple physical models to test and present design ideas and iterations. White or coloured 3D print are both...

HAPPY 100 YEARS!
Middlesbrough's landmark Transporter Bridge celebrates its centenary today.
EYELEVEL images formed part of a successful Heritage Lottery Fund bid in May 2011. The Transporter Bridge project has been awarded over £2m of Lottery money to be spent on a new gondola, glass lifts and mesh covered high level walkway along the full length of the bridge.
The silver tensioned mesh walkway enclosure was a technical and artistic challenge. It required many test images for discussion the designers to achieve the balance of fine transparent mesh and safe enclosure.
EYELEVEL specifically requested the presence and input from local planning and English Heritage officers to ensure the planning authority and public consultations were provided with the most strategic and important viewpoints...

SPECIALIST EMERGENCY CARE HOSPITAL
Working alongside landscape and planning consultants, EYELEVEL produced a series of key photomontage images for the Environmental Impact Assessment submission. Building proposals, landscape, car parking and wind turbines. As the planning consultation progressed the images were amended to show the visual impact.
A further commission by the NHS Trust followed the planning application for an exciting marketing image for display in public consultation exhibitions and engagement. The success of this image achieved widespread coverage in printed and digital press and TV.
Planning approval granted in October 2011...

LOW CARBON WORKPLACE
Redevelopment of existing building into an energy efficient low carbon use workplace. The project is part of the Low Carbon Workplace Partnership, with contemporary-style offices available to organisations committed to eco-friendly operation.
The main alteration to the existing building will be the new entrance and reception pavilion. This element alongside a busy intersection became the focus of our imagery. Day images show the intricacy and natural colour of the timber cladding and the night image shows the inviting lighting and transparency.
A series of presentation images showed exterior and interior design options to the client and planners throughout the design development stage.
Final planning application image was submitted in 2010. Ongoing marketing images throughout 2011...

PLANNING FOR JERICHO
Jericho Health Centre forms part of The Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, one of the University of Oxford’s most significant development projects.
Great attention was given to choosing the most effective image viewpoints within the surrounding narrow residential conservation area. It was important to show the relationship with the public realm and Radcliffe Observatory.
The streetscape led us to choose linear compositions to show the proposed health centre nestled behind the preserved existing stone wall.
Careful texture mapping and individual 3D bricks were modelled to ensure the hit and miss brickwork coursing is precise and realistic.
Planning permission achieved Summer 2011.
You can see what is happening now on the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter via the live camera.
Scheduled completion May 2012...

MARKETING UCL ACADEMY
These images of UCL Academy were created to show the proposed building to stakeholders.
Our challenge was to capture the important design elements of the building within a single image. The viewpoint was restricted by dense trees behind the viewpoint position. The final elevated viewpoint provides great views of both the landscape and interior.
We also worked closely with this award winning architect on design development for the external cladding system as well as colours and 'Superstudio' interior colours.

GET CARTER CAR PARK GONE
The love-hate relationship is over...
The 1969 Gateshead Car Park, designed by Owen Luder and made famous by the 1971 Michael Cain film Get Carter, has been demolished.
Our photograph was taken during the open day which offered a final opportunity to pay homage to a building which never failed to provoke debate and an emotional reaction.
We look forward to the long awaited Trinity Square regeneration of Gateshead Town Centre by Spenhill...
